If you’re an introvert this can be scary, but do your best to really talk to people at your shows. Talk to the bartender, the soundperson, the doorperson, or somebody sitting at the bar. Ask people questions about where they’re from originally, what they do for work, what they like to eat, etc. You never know who you’ll meet and the adventures you could have.
Now that you’ve finished recording and your track sounds great, you’ll need to get a file version you can send around. To make a quick mp3 bounce of your song, click on File in the top left corner, then find Share and click on iTunes. Many platforms such as iTunes will compress the file in the process to fit their standards, so be mindful of that.

Home producing your vocals takes some to get used to. Here’s some advice to help you out. But in the mean time, let’s talk about the microphone. If you’re recording at home, you’re probably going to use whatever mic you have lying around. So make sure to purchase something that fits with what you plan to record next time you get to the store.
Most likely, you’ll do what everyone else does, which is live with everything being a little out of tune. And if you’re a guitarist, you know that no matter how you tune your guitar, it won’t stay in tune for long anyway, so how much does any of this even matter?

Your engagement metrics will tell you which efforts are getting the most attention on a weekly basis, and how that’s changed over time from a macro perspective. What this means is, you can easily see where you’re getting the most interaction and focus in any particular space, and how images or videos two years ago for example stack up with those posted more recently.
If you’re looking for an intimate house/basement show, local bloggers/curators No Smoking Media are bringing the party on Friday with several bands, including Stuyedeyed. Based out of Brooklyn, Stuyedeyed plays a fresh blend of latin-psych-rock. Nelson Antonio Espinal, the band’s lead singer and guitarist, collaborated with his bandmates to write Birth and Cursed (the two demos out currently) with one goal in mind: “to bring only the most excellent of vibes to any and all listeners.”
With some EQ, dynamics, and imaging adjustments, mastering can fine-tune the blending of sounds within the entire song, but it won’t make any major volume level or sonic flavor adjustments to individual components. You don’t want to focus so much on trying to boost the overall song volume level when you are mixing as that is an aspect that would apply to the master output of the mix and, hence, should be left to the mastering engineer to handle for you. The only overall volume level issue you need to worry about during mixing is to make sure your levels are not clipping as it will cause digital distortion that cannot be repaired in mastering.
